SomaData Inc. publishes MassageData for people learning about massage therapy and the profession. Reading this public website does not create an account, purchase, subscription, practitioner relationship, or entitlement to a separate learning product. Account and access-status pages describe availability; they do not enroll you in a service.

Education and professional judgment

• Technique descriptions and cautions are general educational information. They are not an individual assessment, diagnosis, treatment plan, or a complete training protocol.
• Reading a record does not establish that a technique is appropriate for you or another person. Seek qualified professional advice for individual health concerns; do not delay care because of this site.
• Licensing and continuing-education summaries do not grant permission to practice or satisfy a board’s requirements. Confirm the rule, deadline, and accepted documentation with the responsible authority.
• MBLEx guidance is independent study information. It is not an official examination, a promise of a passing result, or a substitute for the current candidate handbook.

MassageData is not a licensing board, accreditor, certifying body, or examination administrator. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or reviewed by FSMTB, NCBTMB, or a state regulatory board. A listed school, technique, organization, source, or product is not a recommendation for your individual circumstances.

Sources, dates, and corrections

Published records identify sources and, where available, review dates and evidence limits. A review date states when that review occurred; it does not guarantee that the source or rule has stayed unchanged. Missing information is not proof that a requirement, risk, or effect does not exist. Consult the cited source for its full context.
