How it is practiced and taught
A portable chair commonly supports the face, chest, arms, seat, and lower legs. Before work begins, the practitioner assesses fit, transfer safety, balance, mobility, privacy, sanitation, consent, and whether another surface—or no session—is safer.
Methods commonly address the back, shoulders, neck, arms, hands, or scalp through clothing. Short sessions do not guarantee productivity, prevent workplace injury, or replace ergonomics and medical evaluation.
