West Virginia requires a massage therapist license for regulated practice and, since July 1, 2025, a separate license for nonexempt massage establishments.

License renewal
Renewal requires 24 CE units within the preceding two-year period under NCBTMB, FSMTB, or Board-approved guidelines.
